Different maple syrup flavours:

Maple syrup has in recent times become one of the most used form of natural sweetener, giving tough competition to the likes of honey and jiggery. Although the entire process of preparation and extraction does seem complex at first sight. But thanks to the advancement in science and technology, there have been various modifications in the procedure making the process easier and less complicated.

The collection of maple syrup-

The xylem sap from maple trees is extracted and concentrated to form maple sugar or syrup. This process is usually carried out between out the months of February to end of April. The taste or the flavour the syrup is said to be contained in the sap while extraction by drilling the trunk of maple trees.
